Bathrooms and toilets

Occupants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining bathrooms.

Showers #

Keep the shower curtain inside the bath or the shower door closed to prevent water leaking onto the floor. Do NOT leave the curtain or door open while waiting for the shower to heat up.

Use shower mats and ensure you have spare dry ones.

Regularly clean:

• the seal around the shower to prevent mould appearing and causing further damage.
• tiles, doors, and glass around the shower.

We recommend you use “Dettol Mould and Mildew remover”. Please read the instructions before use.

Waste disposal #

Do NOT dispose of waste products such as nappies, sanitary towels, cotton wool, fabric, tampons, condoms, wet wipes, kitchen towels, paint stripper, acids, solvents, etc. in toilets, macerator toilets, shower trays, or sinks.

Macerator toilets have 2cm pipes and can only handle human waste and toilet paper.

Leaks and blockages #

Please contact us about leaks or blockages. Issues caused by occupant or visitor negligence will be rectified at the occupant’s expense.
